The New York City Department of Parks & Recreation

Built in 1994 by The Rev. Williamson Park Association, this park was named in honor of one of our principal founders and our first president. 

Walkways constructed from scavenged 19th and early 20th century bricks
Raised planting beds of granite stone and wood for vegetables, herbs, flowers and shrubs
Park benches
East perimeter of native rocks and small boulders unearthed during park construction
Mural by artists Shirley E. Johnson and Timothy Fowlkes
